Dan Scibienski was a wonderful facilitator of iPad training for our ESL teachers last week. He was punctual, clear, concise, and cordial. Dan had the perfect mix of content knowledge and pedagogy, and he executed a seamless workshop for my ESL teachers, many of which are new to the device and were nervous. Dan has a disarming presence and is patient with not only experienced device-users, but also ones who may be inexperienced.

"As a new ESL teacher, starting my teaching career at a new charter school, I felt unsure of exactly where to begin to identify my ELL students, their needs, and to find useful resources for teaching. ELLconsulting provided me with the steps I needed to take to regarding screening and placement of my ELL students, to find parent sample notification to communicate with the parents of my ELLs, and some important things to consider when setting up my ESL Program. ELLconsulting also provided me with sample language to use in communicating with parents their right to opt out of ESL /Bilingual support services. I contacted Daniel in October looking for guidance and support for my ESL program. He responded back immediately and helped me get to the root of my concerns. Daniel's expertise in the field of ESL or ELL is vast, and his dedication to helping his colleagues succeed is quite honorable. You don't come across many teachers who are willing to go the extra mile the way he does. As a life-long learner, I am constantly looking for ways to improve myself personally and professionally, so that I can better meet the needs of my students. I am fortunate to have aligned myself with someone who is so willing to freely share his knowledge, wisdom, and resources with me. I look forward to continuing to work with Daniel in my quest to be the best ESL teacher I can possibly be.
